Orange has proved its worth in the interior design market, due to its ability to give a space a bright and uplifting sense. Shades of orange can be found in accent furniture pieces as well as accessories like throw pillows and drapes. Combine pops of orange with gray for a modern look, or spice up a turquoise space with tangerine accessories to evoke a Southwestern style. Note that orange works best when it is used sparingly in design – too much can be overbearing!
