Bottles of liquor and wine are staged behind wire mesh in lacquered cabinets with brass piping. Fabulously-veined marble completes the look and anchors the bar that’s ready to serve its guests.
Whimsy is in the details in the garden at what was formerly known as the Asia Society, the site of this year’s show house. With a nod to bamboo, circular-patinated decorative objects and stone sculpture, it is a restive spot for any visitor looking to unwind for a while.
This black and white hallway is accented with a fabulous white ceramic table affixed to the wall and a hand-drawn lyrical rendition of trees in full bloom. Each panel tells its own story—if walls could talk!
